MLK Day
Most of the morning was spent at the Dr.'s office getting our 3 and 4 year old checkups. With shots....OUCH! Addison was a trooper she gout four shots and didn't even flinch. She told the nurse " huh, that wasn't so bad!". What a big girl. Kadence only got one shot but you would have thought we were killing her, she fought and clinged. Poor little thing, she hates the Dr.'s office. After that we went to MD's and had some lunch. then we went for a photo shoot. I wasn't sure how it would work out because of the shots but they did great. the Fields......

Dancing Angel and Sleepy Sheep
Our family are huge fans of Cmas music ( we call it Cmas Jams ) and we play it from the time it comes on ( early Nov. ) until the day after Cmas. So when they started singing in the play Addison begins to break it down out in the front and we were all cracking up. i wish I has taken the video camera!
Those who know Kadence know that she is serious about her bed time and will stright up tell you it's time to get in bed. So during the soft and smooth rendition of Silent Night, I see slowly begin to stretch until she get flat on her belly and conks out for a little snooze!
Silly kids are the best medicine!

Zoo Light Safari
I didn't get to do much posting over the Holidays. We went to Zoo Light Safari and had a great time. the girls loved the carousel. it was so funny because they wouldn't decide what animals they wanted to ride and we were running around like crazy. i finally just had to say enough, you have to ride on the one you are closest to. They also liked the fake snow at the entrance, since we don't get much here in Alabama!

Four years ago today...
we got our first little Angel. The one I call Boozle affectionately. Addison is four years old today and the time has flown. I can remember how fast she developed, started talking and potty trained. It's sad but I find it hard to remember when she actually needed me, she was always so grown. It was like she was born already knowing what to do.
Last night after dinner, we finished off a jug of milk and Addison says " Oh mom, can I save that milk jug? It is all plastic and I need to take it to school to recycle." Of course I said sure but then sat and thought to myself how life is passing me by and my Boozle would be 4 and thinking of things so beyond her years.

Ala-Freakin- Bama Roll Tide Roll!
Come on who doesn't love a song with their husband's name in it???? It's really catchy! LOL
No pics, no stories! Kind of a blah night for us. At least Bama got his new TV yesterday just in time to grace it with a National Championship win. I have been fighting with the people at RCA since Sept.09. We bought a lemon and it took that long for them to do anything about it. From this point on NEVER buy an RCA brand! TRUST ME....the company isn't easy to work with. Anyway, I was in the bed because I am still not feeling up to par. All I could hear was the screaming from the living room. If anyone knows "THE FIELDS GROUP" they get really into Bama ball! So there was lots of thrashing when they were doing bad an clapping when they did good, really I didn't have to watch the game to know what went on. Everyone is happy in the TIDElands, YAY!!!!!

Who got to enjoy what little snow that we got?
NOT ME! I was stuck at work and could only linger at the window wishing just to be at home with my girls. I am trying not to be bitter, it really was pretty to be up here and see all of the trees and the pond covered in snow. Now it is just going to turn into an icy mess.....did I mention I have strep throat again! Yes, it stinks, I mean come on twice with in 3 weeks? I have so ready to have the tonsils ripped out of my neck but then again I am scared of the recovery, people say it's not pretty as an adult? Oh well anything to maybe ward of this retched sickness. Soon I'll be home ready to snuggle into my bed. Let's all pray that the power lines don't freeze!!!!

McWayne trip
One of the Cmas gifts for the whole family was a membership to the McWayne Center in downtown Bham. Free admission, free parking, $3 Imax tickets...what a deal! So we went for the first time on Sat. the 2nd. We all had a blast. Daddy got on the bed of nails, none of us girls would try it. There was so much to do and see, we spent the whole day. We got to pet sharks and sting rays in the touch tank. There were so many kinds of fish, of course we had to find every character from Nemo. We conducted an experiment with water, antacid and a film bottle. The reaction shot the bottle all the way to the ceiling. Kadence stood inside of a Tornado at the weather station and Addison dug for Dino bones in the sand. The Imax was so neat but Mommy got a little motion sickness. We will definitely get our money's worth out of this gift. THANKS SANTA!!!!!!

Ringing it in...
I can't believe that I feel so old. There we were beginning a new year and my thoughts were on my nice fluffy warm bed. We had a blast though. Great friends, great fun, great food...what more could you ask for. The kids of course always have the best time. Staying up late hanging out with their buds. So here's to a new start, hopefully this one won't pass by so fast!

I AM random....
So as most of you know I go through random spirts of unblogness???? So here is a small recap. We had a terrific Christmas except that I had to go to the ER on Cmas Eve Eve ( Wed. the 23rd). Just an allergic reaction to some medication, scary but easily fixed thank goodness. I have been trying just to get back into a rhythm but it's hard when the kids are out of school. They are such busy bodies and it's not easy to keep them occupied. Addison did get LuLu the cuddlin kitty and Kadence did get the Pitter Patter pup but not from Santa, from Gmomma & Gdaddy Wallis (my mom's parents). They were absolutely thrilled and Addison assured me that she would definitely not be a FAILURE now! We also got a new family member Halle, she is pictures below sporting a black velvet coat with a touch of white under the collar. She is a doll and was already house trained (a plus for Mommy). So now we are a family of six. Bama, Cassie, Addison, Kadence, Turk and Halle. HA HA the girls still outnumber the boys, sorry fellas! Santa was very good to the girls this year despite some employment fallbacks. It seems that just when I think Cmas is going to be extremely slack, it turns out to be a better Cmas that years before. I think it's because we appreciate what we get more when we don't have a as much. Great lessons we learn from experience huh?
