I have a new blog for all things crafty in the Fields house. I will continue to update A Journey Through The Fields with family, friends and special events. The additional blog will be for my hobby ( semi -business prospect? ). After all if Inever try I will never know if it would have worked, right? Saturday Stomp

Last Saturday after the Alabama game we went to Morgan Creek Winery for their annual grape stomp. Even though it was muddy and we got wet, it was fun! Kadence wouldn’t participate at all so Addison go her footprints done and then we moved on to the grape barrels. Then neither one of them would get in SOOOOO mommy did! It was so weird to feel all those squishy grapes between my toes. After the tasting there was an “ I Love Lucy” look-a-like contest. It was hilarious, there were a couple who looked pretty close to her. The girls were exhausted from running all over the place so we left before it was over and they fell asleep before we even got out of the driveway.

HOMECOMING

Kadence was so excited when she got up this morning because today is spirit day at CVA. Addison not so much, she has never been a morning person. Bama and I don't do great in the morning either, I don't know where Kady gets it? Anyway, Go Rebels and Yellow Jackets, their Homecoming is tonight too! We usually try to at least attend both Homecoming games but this year they planned them on the same night. How crazy? They did that with graduation this past May and it made it so hard for my family because we had graduates from both places. Either way I hope they both WIN!!!!!

We attended a super fancy party on Sun. The girls had a great time and loved dressing up. it was so neat everyone there had on something fancy. The fancy birthday girl got lots of spectacular goodies. Here are some pics of the outfits that I made for them to wear. They will probably double as a Halloween costume because they both want to be Fancy Nancy then as well!

Labor Day Weekend

was full of fun with family and friends. We went to a birthday party and a football party on Saturday, RTR! Sunday, we were lazy and didn’t get up early enough to make it to church on time. So we went to get groceries and played outside all day! Monday, we cooked out with my parents and played water balloons. Everyone got soaked by Addison when she got a hold of the water hose. Me and NiNi were sitting on an older bench swing that had no back laughing at Mamie because she snuck in the house and got a gallon of water to pour on JB because he was still somehow dry? NiNi was slapping her leg and leaning back and all of the sudden the whole swing broke in half and we were flat on our backs with legs in the air. We were laughing so hard that we couldn’t get up. Then here came Addison with the hose again and soaked us while still laying on the ground. Amazing no one had a camera! Monday was fun but this morning I was so sore and exhausted!

We did manage a small photo shoot before the drenching commenced. Don’t let these sweet faces fool you!
